Turkish occupation, its affiliates’ attacks continue on Rojava

NEWS DESK- People Protection Units assured that Turkish occupation and its mercenaries’ attacks are continuing on Rojava, particularly on Afrin and Kobani cantons.

People Protection Units released a statement on the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on Rojava in the past 6 days.

The statement was declared on the YPG website; the statement is:

On May 21st, Turkish warplanes hovered over the borderline with Kobani from the west at 16:30, on the same day, our positions were targeted on a hill in Basofan village in Sherawa district as the mercenaries shot fire, our fighters have responded right off the bat without knowing the number of the mercenaries killed and wounded.

On the May 24 at 23:00, Turkish drones hovered over the western borders of Kobani canton.

On May 24, the mercenaries launched attacks on Vilat al-Qadi region in Afrin canton with shells.

On May 25, Turkish drones hovered over the western borders of Kobani canton, on the same day, confrontations erupted between our forces and the Turkish army’ affiliates gangs which attempted to attack Burj Sulieman village in Sherawa district and a mercenary was also killed.

On May 26, confrontations broke out between our forces and the gangs which attempted to attack Iska village in Sherawa district, and a mercenary was killed due to the clashes, Basofan village was also shelled with mortars.

On the same day, Turkish warplanes hovered over the borderline with Kobani from the west, and the Turkish army members attacked our forces points with heavy arms.
